I want the church to begin to truly disciple the believer and help each follower of Jesus Christ to love, forgive, and stand firm on truth.

I hope the church will be lead by shepherds who are not only skilled teachers or artful leaders but deeply transformed souls who model the fruit of the spirit for the body to emulate. I hope we truly become known by our love.

That they would walk in the complete fullness of Gods End Time plan. That tey would walk in love and truth. Their hearts would not grow cold but they would have zeal for the Lord and be watching and waiting with a prepared heart for when Jesus returns to the earth to rule and reign.

Many, many people do not believe that God is real or that He cares. My hope is to see the church rise up, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and SHOW them just how real/caring He is, as evidenced in Luke 4:18-19. You can't argue with empty cancer wards!

My hope is that the church would put more emphasis on mentoring and discipleship to high school students and college students and their respective transition

For the church to rise up and be the church no more making excuses no more hiding our belief but taking our rightful place. We have allowed God to be run out of our schools out of our government out of the home and in some cases out of the church and we wonder why he dosnt move in the church. When we have shone him and the holy spirit the door. I say rise church Jesus didn't go into the tomb for Lazerus he yelled for him to come out so rise church rise!

My hope is that the Church would be committed to scripture, loving God, and loving others (especially the marginalized). This will inspire the Church toward unity and the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel.

My hope is the Church will discontinue watering down the Bible and figure out a way to present the gospel in such a way that all will understand.

My hope for the Church is that we will seek unity and cooperation among evangelicals in order to seriously engage with increasingly post-Christian culture we find ourselves in. I hope we remain committed to the disciplines of evangelism and discipleship that create people commited to joining Christ in His mission for the world.

I know it's a strange analogy, but I hope the church can become more like a bar. Now hear me out, a bar is perceived as a place where people, for whatever reason, can go to be refreshed, be able to "let their hair down" and be real, and a place where there seems to no judgment. You can be honest about your problems and still be accepted in that place of business.
On the other hand, so many report their distancing themselves from the church because they feel judged, unlistened to, and a sense that you have to have everything in your life cleaned up before you can be a part of the church. And the perception is that the church is the last place where you would go to be free of your burdens, your problems, or your hope.
So what if the church really was more like a bar? What if it was the church where everyone new your name and really welcomed you. What if it was the church where you could go and not have to wear a false mask? Where you could open up about your problems and concerns? What if the church were the place where people didn't feel they were being judged?
My hope for the church is that WE, rather than some bar, become that place of honesty, of welcome, of acceptance, of listening, of freedom, and of hope!
