My hope for the church is that it would be renewed and revived, especially in America, where the church has generally been in stupor of complacency and self-seeking infancy. My hope is that it will wake up and see what it cost to be present in our communities, and that the church would make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, co workers and perceived 'enemies'.

Churches ought to be congregations of people whose lives have been transformed by the redeeming grace of Christ. When believers gather to hear the Word of God expounded, their lives will be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. They will be motivated to be living witnesses by their holiness of life, their integrity of speech, and their selfless service to their community. Such churches will be more than meeting places, they will be lighthouses sending forth the gospel encapsulated in dedicated lives, sent to the ends of the earth to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in obedience to Christ's commissions. Such churches will be motivated by the glorious hope of the soon coming Savior who will return for His own when the fullness of the Gentiles is come in and when He 'will turn godlessness away from Jacob.'

My hope for the Church is that we would come to see ourselves as God see us. We are blameless, faultless, and beyond reproach in His sight. We will never again have to give an account for our sin. All of us will receive the same reward on that Day: a crown, a white robe, a "well done,"overflowing joy, and one claim: You have made me righteous Father on account of Your Son!

I want to see God's people abiding in Him through immersion in His Word and prayer. Out of this, His Kingdom shall come, His will shall be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven!

I hope the Church continues to recognize the value of community, both through small-group experiences and mentoring relationships.

I hope that the Church will focus on enabling people to incarnate God's love in humanity
and the world,to become Christs, rather than converting people to a belief system(s).

My hope for the church would be that it is a place where any individual struggling through the difficulties of life making mistakes along the way feels loved. Not only should they feel loved, but they should feel the love and acceptance of Christ. A love that can conquer any sin, a love that says no matter what you've been through, no matter what your going through, there is a God who knows what your going through and will be there every step of the way to see you through your difficulties. A love that doesn't discriminate, doesn't hate, doesn't label anyone, or judge anyone. This love gets to know each person walking into the door and makes them feel like they are the most important person in the church for the simple reason that God sees them as that person, with a heart that wants to be loved and in turn has the ability to love others with as much love as Christ loved us.

My hope for the Church is that the Church can really be the Hope for the world, being Jesus for a world that needs everything only Jesus can give.
