My Hope for the church is that our vision/passion is determined by the Word of God. We have hope as we go back to the Book and let our action be determined by His Word, especially the Book of Acts. If Jesus is the Lord of the Church as a result that HE is my LORD it will have have a Global impact. We as a church would then reach out to our neighbors across the street and across the ocean. It would mean that we reach out to other cultures, religion and race. Yes, this would include Muslims. The Church of Jesus Christ has a future here in North America (I live in Canada) as we take the Gospel to 'the end of the world' in a culturally sensitive way. Just a few days ago we had a dinner where Christians and Muslims met together. We shared a meal with an Afghan family and listened to their story and shared our own story. Just yesterday I heard that a young lady from the west-coast got accepted serving as a summer short term missionary in Turkey. This summer I will lead a 8 days outreach reaching out to Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and other newcomers to our country. I have a HOPE FOR THE CHURCH as we're not so much focus on our own fellowship and worship but have a global impact. My most memorable worship time was not here in North America as a self proclaimed 'worship' leader entertained a great audience, but an international church in Istanbul/Turkey. The active worship time lasted at least for two hours. It was not what happened up there on the platform, but as the whole congregation was active involved in worship.

My hope is that the Church will live by the Word and love by the Spirit. If we stop trying to be moral teachers of truth and live it out then we change the world as Jesus did. Time to start living up to our calling!

I hope a place transcending it´s walls by testimoning the faith, sharing the salvation and new life, living the Gospel of Jesus Christ our redeemer and Savior, expressing adoration and surrending all we are to the Father. Obbeyng Jesus´s commandments. Loving the others like he loves us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My hope for the church is in a love for the Scriptures and obedience to the Spirit's leading as we seek guidance through prayer. My hope is that we will resist the tendency to follow trends more than the Spirit-that we will see that many different styles of buildings can be built on that solid foundation of Jesus and His Word-God did not design us to be a cookie cutter subdivision, but so often we settle for that instead of flourishing in the uniqueness that He created.

My hope is that the church would graduate from its insidious "training mode" and finally gets deployed in personal ministry. After the commencement, the millions of gospel tracts that believers have safely stored in their desk drawers will move to their pockets and purses because they've finally picked up their crosses and accepted the call to rescue the perishing. The church is currently bored silly by the Christian faith because it's not living it. Only the deployed find it exciting and rewarding. Only the deployed get used in miracles and suffer the persecution. My hope is that every believer becomes a disciple with an assignment from God.

My hope for the church is that it begins to love all people, no matter who they are and shares the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ with them. It is my hope that the church no longer exists as an institution, but as a neighborhood, city, state, country and world of believers all united by the love of God. It is my hope that we live our lives daily experiencing and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all people no matter their race, creed, social class or sexual orientation. It is my hope for the church that we discover the true nature of God.

That the Church would go back to the fundamentals of the unadulterated Word of God and live that irrespective of the context in which she is placed.

My hope is that we, the church catholic, can be a beacon of light for all in need. It is my hope that the church can be a place of healing and hope. We are all broken souls and God's grace and love are bigger than the little denonimational boxes that we use to confine God. It is my hope that we can learn to truly live out our baptismal calling to love as we have first been loved - and then do it.

My hope for the church is that we continue to return to the call Jesus placed upon us in the Great Commission. My hope is we stop labeling things as seeker or missional or whatever new labels will come and just do, live out what He empowered us to do through the Holy Spirit and called us to do, by going out and making disciples, baptizing them, teaching them all that He has commanded so that they in turn can teach others and the process continues and the kingdom of God expands in His power. That is being seeker sensitive, that is being missional, that is my hope I pray we get back to, obedience to what He has called us to.

I hope the church is better able to discern between essential and non-essentials in matters of doctrine, and so to renew both our focus on the essentials (Christ's death and resurrection) and our pursuit of unity.
