My hope for God's church is that we come to the realization that we don't have to be perfect to love & serve God and each other.

I hope the church will join together, and hundreds of worshipers will gather to worship in freedom, in Spirit, and in truth.

My hope for the church is that it truly is a place for the sick, hurt, and dying; that it reflects the diversity of God's creation and demonstrates to the world what try reconciliation really looks like; that it is a sending base from which those within understand that they are called to be missionaries, blessed to be a blessing to the nations.

My hope for the Church is that we get back to sharing the importance of "relationship" in Christ, not only in word but also by the example of our actions and "fruit" of our own character. By doing that I hope we can unite with other Christ followers of all ages/races and work together. We need to get away from the agendas and programs that are constantly causing division. All of this would require us to truly die to self and serve, instead of fighting to have the biggest church, most numbers, best programs.

My hope for our church is that we will work together to reach those who have not heard the good news and that we will continue to encourage and build each other up and glorify Him.

My hope is for the Church to be a shining light pointing to Christ because of the love we show each other and all people.

My hope is that an unbelieving world would recognize the church by their fruit...that they would be known more for the good they do and they unspeakable joy they possess, rather than for what they don't do or what they are against.

My hope for the church is that it reclaims its role as the primary place where the kingdom of God is encountered, experienced, and shared. The kingdom is not an individual experience only, and it is not something that will be ushered in by elected officials. It begins with Jesus and is made known in the church.

It's my hope that the Church will be so Spirit filled that all who enter our doors receive Christ as their personal Savior, grow in their faith and reach out to others.

I have come to think of the "bottom line" for the church as helping people learn to live life "with God". If we focus on that one thing, everything else will flow from being connected to Christ.
