Though I do not want it, I believe that the only hope for the church at this point is persecution. When God wanted the Israelites to start for the promised land, he brought hardship. Today His people in North America have it so good we don't look forward to Heaven. We are comfortable and earth-bound.
Jesus does not want to come for a Bride who does not want to go with Him! ("...those who love His appearing.") Nor can He rapture a bride "without spot or wrinkle" if the church is in her present condition.
Oh, that we would have revival without facing hardship and persecution. I do pray that it will come instead of judgement!

My hope is that the church would proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ without apology.

My hope for the Church is that it would be a place to experience and express the fulness and the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that it would be a people full of His virtue flowing into the press of a desperate world.

My hope for the Church is that we will one day live out the Gospel message of God's unfaltering love, that we will love and support our brothers and sisters in faith, supporting them and loving them for who they are.

My hope is that we will find an appropriate ministry to the rural poor in our area.

Unity. That the denominational name tags would keep falling off and that we would unite around King Jesus.

My hope for the church is that she never forgets her first love. That we always remember that we are the bride of christ and not stray from him.

My hope is that we would understand that the "church" is more than a noun that is a verb. If we would "be the church" and live out our callings of the Great Commandment & Great Commission we would see a lost world run to the Savior & long to follow him. my hope simply is that we would be.the church.

My hope for the Church is that we will obey our Lord's instruction to make disciples of all nations and in turn produce disciple-makers. That we will be intentional & serious in praying God's kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

May the church be motivated to help the hopeless, helpless, weak and defenseless.
